Launching a longevity offer: partner models, pilot and process

Reviewed by Dr. Daniel Wallerstorfer, molecular biologist and founder of Novogenia · Updated: 12 October 2026 · Reading time: 8 min

In short

A longevity offer does not start with a warehouse full of tubs, but with a clear question: what do your members, guests, employees or patients need – and what does research say about it? With Novogenia, you have three routes: your own partner shop with no setup fees, white label under your brand, or your own product. You start with a small pilot, train your team free of charge in the NOVO Academy and expand what works. The longevity line with six building blocks is planned for 2026 and can be added later as a module.

Test drive first, then the fleet

Nobody buys a whole fleet of cars before taking a test drive. Yet with new health offers, that is exactly what often happens: shelves full of tubs, a big starter package, an advertising budget – and only afterwards the question of whether customers actually want it.

There is another way. At Novogenia, production is possible from a single unit, and a pilot with a small batch is part of the plan. So you can test on a small scale, listen and then expand what works.

A good offer is not created at a desk, but in conversation with the people it is meant for. This article shows you the way there – from the partner model to the pilot to a trained team.

Three routes to your own offer

Novogenia sells exclusively through partners. There are three models for working together, which differ in effort and brand presence:

Partner shopWhite labelYour own product
What it isYour own online shop with your branding; Novogenia ships the kit, analyzes the sample and delivers the reportAnalyses and products under your brandA product that Novogenia develops and manufactures for you
Your effortLow – you recommend and adviseMedium – brand, presence, communicationHigher – concept, formula, market launch
Your incomeCommission on every order, no setup feesBy individual agreementBy individual agreement
A good fit if…You want to start quickly without upfront investmentYour brand should take center stageYou want a distinctive product

An obvious route: start with the partner shop, because it requires no upfront investment. Look into white label or your own product once you know what your customers actually ask for – then you decide based on real experience rather than assumptions.

Hotels have a special option: supplements can be offered as a personal takeaway or as a subscription after the stay. That way, you stay in touch with your guests after they leave.

What fits your business: the building blocks

Not every building block suits every business. This overview helps with your first selection:

SectorObvious building blocksMore on this
GymAnalyses on sports and performance and on nutrition and weight, personalized supplements; raw materials are also tested for doping substancesLongevity in the gym
CompanyLifestyle analyses for employees, without the employer seeing the resultsCorporate health programs
PhysiotherapyPerformance and recovery genetics as an add-on service, analyses on nutrient supplyLongevity in physiotherapy
Spa and wellness hotelSkin analyses, supplements as a takeaway or subscription; sample collection in the spa takes only a few minutesSpa, hotel and longevity clinic
Longevity clinicNovogenia as the lab in the background, personalized supplements under the clinic’s brand; professional counseling stays with the clinicLongevity clinics

One advantage applies to every sector: genes do not change. One analysis is enough, and its results remain valid for life – even though interpretations can evolve with science.

The pilot: small, clear, measurable

A good pilot answers a single question: does the offer suit your customers? For that, you need four things:

An example, purely for illustration: a gym with 800 members invites the participants of a strength class to take an analysis on sports and performance. After the report session, the trainers adjust the training priorities together with the members. Anyone who wishes also starts with personalized supplements for one delivery. At the end, the gym collects feedback and decides whether to extend the offer to other classes, adapt it or drop it.

Measure the pilot by participation, feedback and reorders – not by health promises. How minimum quantities and pilot phases work in production is explained in Starting small: minimum order quantities and pilots.

Your team: explaining with skill, supporting with motivation

Your team turns a report into everyday life: in conversation, in training, in ongoing support. How important that is shows in a systematic review of 18 studies: simply communicating a DNA-based disease risk did not reliably change behavior (Hollands et al., BMJ 2016). The logical conclusion: it is personal support that turns knowledge into change – and that is exactly what you offer.

That is what the NOVO Academy is for. It is free and optional, comprises about 5 hours of video per language and is available in seven languages: German, English, Czech, French, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch. You receive a certificate for each completed topic. Of particular interest for gyms: a training on performance genetics – which genes influence athlete type, connective tissue and recovery.

Also clarify roles: who runs the report sessions? Who answers questions about supplements? Who is the contact person for Novogenia? Clear responsibilities ensure that every customer gets the same reliable information.

Just as important as expertise is knowing the boundary. Agree on these points with your team:

The process in eight steps

  1. First conversation: tell us about your business, your customers and your goals.
  2. Choose a model: partner shop, white label or your own product.
  3. Tailor the building blocks: which analyses, which supplements and which support fit your offer?
  4. Clarify the legal side: lifestyle or medical analysis, consent and data protection, advertising claims. Helpful reading: Who may offer genetic tests? and Genetic data and the GDPR.
  5. Train your team: with the NOVO Academy and clear rules on what you explain and where you refer.
  6. Start the pilot: a small group, a fixed period, honest criteria.
  7. Review and expand: what worked? What do your customers want more of – and less of?
  8. Extend later: for example with the longevity line, once it is available.

The longevity line: a module for later

The Novogenia longevity line is planned to launch in 2026. It consists of six building blocks, aligned with six aging processes described in research, and is designed for different age groups. For its development, our lab has produced its own literature reviews with 90 referenced PubMed studies. Some longevity substances popular in the US, such as NMN, rapamycin or metformin, were deliberately not included – some of them are not permitted as food supplements in the EU.

The line will be available as a Novogenia line and, on request, as a private label under your own brand. Important for your planning: formulations, quantities and availability may still change before launch. So plan the line as an extension of an offer that already works today – not as its foundation. You will find details on the Novogenia longevity page.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost to start with Novogenia?
There are no setup fees for the partner shop. You earn a commission on every order placed through your shop. Terms for white label and your own products are agreed individually, depending on the scope of your project.
Do I need medical staff?
Not for lifestyle analyses. Medical analyses are reserved for physicians wherever national law requires it – for example in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the USA. For your team, there is the free NOVO Academy, and we support you with the launch and with integrating the offer into your processes.
Can I start small?
Yes. You can start with a small pilot batch and test analyses and products with some of your customers. Production is possible from a single unit.
When can I offer the longevity line?
The launch is planned for 2026. Formulations, quantities and availability may still change before launch. The line will be available as a Novogenia line and, on request, as a private label under your own brand. Until then, you can start with genetic analyses and personalized supplements.
Can I run the offer under my own brand?
Yes. The partner shop carries your branding, the saliva collection kits can carry your brand, and with white label or your own product the entire offer appears under your name.
